begin.with.HIS.name BISMILLAH...
and ALHAMDULILLAH too! Its been so long since I wrote an entry. Ok, as the title suggests, here are two situations; both happening at the same place, a surau at R&R.
*note: both characters didn't know each other and they just happen to meet in a praying room. the parentheses (...) are what they said/thought for themselves.
SITUATION A:
A: (ah lantak lah dia nak sembahyang apa)
B: (lantaklah budak ni nak buat apa)
A: (silap2 sembahyang mamat ni sah ke tidak)
both parties started praying and thought bad things for each other. the list monologue continues until they finished their own prayers, individually.
A: assalamualaikum warahmatullah [leaving the praying room]
B: assalamualaikum warahmatullah [leaving the praying room]
*******************************************************
WHAT IF......SITUATION B:
A: assalamualaikum brader! [shaking hands]
B: waalaikumusalam. [shaking his hands too]
A: are you going to do solat asr?
B: yeah.
A: shall we do it in jamaah?
B: well, sure. of course!
both parties started praying in jamaah.
After prayers,...
A: abang asal Kota Tinggi?
B: ye, ha'a. kenapa?
A: hahaha, saya pon asal sana jugak.
B: oh ye ke? dekat mana?
A: Kota Kechil
B: ye ke? saya pon asal sana. eh, kenal tak....
....and the dialogue continues as they leave the praying room....
A: ok lah bang, saya nak kena gerak dulu.
B: ok. bawak kereta elok-elok. Assalamualaikum!
A: Waalaikummussalam...
suppose you were character A,
See the differences? >>>>>When you just give people a warm greeting of peace and a firm handshake?
SO....when you change the situation, the conditions, the parameters, other's reaction will change
What are the conditions?
1. choosing to be silent and just minding our own business
2. choosing to greet and get to know others, whoever they are.
again, when you CHANGE the parameters, people's reaction will CHANGE!
trust me, it does affect your dakwah as other people will be judgmental of you.
